Changing OS X Language Settings

seoulforeign.org ready to use

The process of moving content from seoulforeign.com to seoulforeign.org has gone smoothly and almost all of you will find that seoulforeign.org is ready to go!

Enter then same username and password for your (.com) account. You will notice that the seoulforeign.org is already filled in for you.

You will be brought to the splash page that you will be familiar with.
Everything should work the same!

What will I notice different?

  • Firstly if it doesn't appear everything has moved,  let us know. Remember items that you have created (documents, emails, calendar events) after school was out for summer will not be migrated. You will need to migrate them manually yourself.
  • We have dual delivery setup up which basically means if someone sends to your old .COM Gmail address it automatically get delivered to your new .ORG Gmail account, but... if someone sends to your .ORG Gmail address is DOES NOT get forwarded back to your old .COM address.
  • You may have been sent a number of emails telling you that permissions have changed in regards to calendars. These can just be deleted.
  • In Google Drive, it will take you through a process of setting up the Drive, follow through this at your leisure.
  • In Google Mail, although all your mail and labels will be there, you will have to setup your theme and add your labs again (preview pane etc).
  • You will notice in Google Drive there are some new features. For some of you there is now a new section called Google Photos to help you manage your photos in Google. This will be available to all shortly (it is a Google rollout not controlled by the school).
