SFS now has a 360 degree still and video camera

The DLC Team now has a Ricoh Theta 360 degree camera. This means that you can take a full 360 degree photo or movie at the click of a button.
The media can then be played on any device but comes to life when placed in a VR viewer such as a Google Cardboard.

Have a look at the projects the camera has been used for so far.

Nuremberg 1937 (HS History). What would it have felt like being at one of Hitler's rallies? (best viewed through the Youtube app on a mobile device)

Knowing our Neighbourhood (Year 3 Social Studies). Looking to identify the services in our local area before doing a walk about.

Download the Ricoh Theta Basic app (Windows and Mac available).

(Be aware. When installing the Mac version you may get a message saying that your system is not supported for Adobe Air - or something similar. I [Alan] just downloaded the Adobe Air app anyway and the installation worked).

Eight Google Cardboards and eight iPod Touches are available for checkout from the DLC Office.
